Rugs and carpeting are often the first consideration when building or redecorating a home. J.Namnoun Rug Gallery is known as a premier Oriental Rug destination through-out southern New England and the tri-state area. Similar to the antique oriental rugs and transitional area rugs we offer for sale all of the traditional area rugs and carpets we carry are hand-selected for inclusion in the J.Namnoun rug gallery.
While we could certainly expand our traditional area rug collection to carry more samples we choose instead to work with manufacturers and artisan weavers we have worked with for years to get the best examples of their work.
We prefer to concentrate on quality and uniqueness rather than sheer volume and inflated artificial prices to showcase the best of whats available in the traditional area rug marketplace today.
Many of the rugs at the gallery hand selected by Andrew or Greg are built on years of personal relationships that they have established working together with the manufacturers, and artisan weavers which is why many of these carpets can only be found at the J.Namnoun rug gallery.
As the marketplace for area rugs and carpets have expanded over the years to meet the needs and demands of some of our most loyal customers we have started to carry some fine quality broadloom carpeting. Much like all of the rugs and carpets sold at J.Namnoun rug gallery the fine quality broadloom carpeting we offer is of the highest quality and hand-picked for inclusion into the store gallery as well.
Fine Quality Broadloom Carpeting
Exclusive contemporary geometric designs, small patterns, and luscious florals combine with a large selection of plain carpeting in a variety of colors. Looped pile, as well as cut pile finishes, are available.
These fine carpet options can be ordered for wall to wall installations, or cut and bound to specific sizes. Contrasting borders can be added to further define the look. We also have a large group of natural fiber products such as sisal, jute, seagrass, coir, linen, and silk which can be made to order with your choice of bindings.
For the more dramatic look, try animal skins. We have designs that look like leopard, zebra, antelope, crocodile, cheetah, and python. Did you know that Marie Antoinette decorated the Petit Trianon with Savonnerie carpets in the leopard pattern? If all of these choices are not enough, we offer hand knotted custom designed rugs in your choice of pattern, color and size.
